In 1999 has defended the Ph.D. dissertation in History at the School of International Relations of the Saint Petersburg State University. The theme of the Ph.D. dissertation: “Common Assembly of European Coal and Steel Community and Genesis of European Integration (1952-1958)”.
Current position and background professional experience:
1994 – present: Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of European Studies of the School of International Relations, Saint Petersburg State University.
1994 – 2003: Vice-Dean of the School of IR (Education, Development).
2003-2010: Senior Vice Dean of the School of IR
2010-present - Dean of the School of IR
