GLOBAL POLITIC AND ECONOMY CENTER (GPEC) was established by St. Petersburg State University (SPSU), one of the world"s top Universities in Russia, and Korean Global Foundation (KGF), a representative Korean intellectual think-tank. It is established in the School of International Relations of SPSU in 2010 May to mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Korea and Russia with the object of improvement of Korea-Russia relations, development of global society, politics and economy and contribution to environmental peace. GPEC, global research training center, is mainly aiming at research on peace, security, economy, exchange and cooperation in Asia-Pacific regions and education & training for up-and-coming future leaders, operating educational programs to cultivate professional knowledge and abilities of power elites in the age of globalization by opening Leadership Course.
